April is Child Abuse Prevention & Awareness Month

April is Child Abuse Prevention & Awareness Month

Every year for April - National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Prevent Child Abuse New York (PCANY) conducts a Pinwheels for Prevention public awareness campaign and a #GoBlue4NYKids social media campaign. These campaigns promote simple actions that can make a big difference in the lives of children, strengthen families and prevent child abuse by removing and challenging barriers to healthy parenting.

Remember to wear blue on April 1st - National Go Blue Day and take pictures to post on social media with the hashtags  #GoBlue4NYKids,  #GreatChildhoodsNY,  and  #GrowingBetterTogether. And join PCANY for the rest of their awareness activities planned throughout April.
